Little & Often

A Clean Grill Is a Happy Grill

Most BBQ problems come down to build-up and neglect. A few minutes of care after each cook prevents rust, flare-ups and off-flavours — and keeps your GRILLMAN tools sharp, safe and ready to go.
  • Clean while the grill is still warm
  • Dry everything to stop rust forming
  • Store tools somewhere dry and covered
The Routine

How to Care for Your Gear

01

After Every Cook

While the grill is still warm, scrub the grates with your GRILLMAN grill brush to lift off charred residue before it hardens.
02

Wash Your Tools

Hand-wash stainless steel tools in warm soapy water. The Hot Plate Liner is dishwasher-safe — just pop it in.
03

Dry Thoroughly

Moisture is the enemy of steel. Towel-dry every tool and let the grill cool fully before covering it up.
04

Season the Plate

Wipe the hot plate with a light coat of oil after cleaning to build a natural non-stick surface and prevent rust.
05

Deep Clean Monthly

Empty the grease tray, check the burners and give the whole BBQ a proper going-over once a month in peak season.
06

Cover & Store

Use a fitted cover and store your BBQ out of the weather. It's the single best thing you can do for its lifespan.

Gas Safety · Always check hoses and fittings for leaks before the season's first cook. If you smell gas, turn everything off at the bottle and do not ignite. When in doubt, have it checked by a licensed professional.
